A PK Hunter, Aradon, also known as "Aradon the Black," is one of the best players in the game and Roto's arch-rival. He is currently a Triple Master class in the Warrior, Mage, and Swordsman classes. His aim is to become the "perfect" Mage.

Personality[]

Aloof and proud, Aradon is the image of a lone wolf. Constantly seeking an advantage over his rivals, he believes that no one is able to judge another person's values.

While he constantly looks down on Roto and his team, he in turn also hates being underestimated or ignored, similar to Roto.

Synopsis[]

Black Werewolf Bug[]

Aradon is first mentioned by Stanker as being one of the rare few Master Class players, noted as being a silent mage and attaining a Master class in the shortest amount of time.

The Player-Killing Mage[]

Aradon debut

Aradon arrives at Piri's shop.

Aradon arrives with his horse, wearing a slightly blood-stained robe, as Roto is busy talking to Piri. He greets Piri who in turn engages in a conversation with him. Paying no attention to Roto, he converses with Piri that he just went to the mountain range. Piri was concerned he stopped visiting because he was away for so long. Aradon sympathizes with her, asking her to appraise the items he brought. Piri is amazed at how much he brought back. She notes they are all high level items but Aradon says to simply what she thinks is appropriate. Annoyed with Roto's pestering, he calls him a "kid" and tells him to get lost. Before Roto has a chance to attack him, Ah-Dol strikes Roto from behind, knocking him unconscious. As Boromir takes his turn pummeling Roto, Ah-Dol politely tells Aradon to pay no attention to them and to go about his business. They then drag Roto's unconscious body away, ready to go hunting. Aradon silently looks on at them, recognizing them.

Aradon receives a hunting tip from Piri and heads to Goblin Forest, killing a player after taunting him. When Ah-Dol arrives shortly after, Aradon asks who he's supposed to be. Sensing an opportunity, Aradon feigns ignorance of why Ah-Dol arrives asking what he wants. Ah-Dol responds if he can really ask that with the player's corpse behind him. Aradon simply states he was doing his job and if Ah-Dol had a problem with that. Ah-Dol suspects that Aradon is a PK (Player Killer). He muses that all jobs were created as honorable, but that he crossed the line, attacking him. Aradon casts Fire Wall attempting to prevent Ah-Dol from getting closer. Undeterred, Ah-Dol jumped through the fire only to find Aradon missing. Although he suspected he teleported, Aradon hid in the flames and used Lightning Bolt behind Ah-Dol knocking him unconscious.

Boromir was finally able to catch up while Aradon and Ah-Dol were fighting. He attempted to do a sneak attack behind him after he cast Lightning Bolt on Ah-Dol, but was caught. Boromir decided to continue his attack, but Aradon was able to dodge it effortlessly. He taunts Boromir, stating he should have aborted the attack, not continue it, making his weakness more apparent. He then casts Paralyze on Boromir to make this point. Boromir demands to know how he knows his name. Aradon reveals he recognized them as Team Triple Threat right away since they were fairly well known, to Boromir's delight. As Aradon prepares to land the finishing blow, Boromir realizes they severely underestimated him especially considering he took down Ah-Dol in one shot, wishing Roto was here.

Nobody ignores Aradon!

Right on cue, Roto tracked down Ah-Dol and Boromir and found them with Aradon. Boromir is happy to see him, which Roto responds he always tracks down his prey. He jumps down from the ledge and launches a Fireball at Boromir for beating on him and then abandoning him, to both Boromir and Aradon's surprise. He then looks up and notices Ah-Dol, although Aradon mistakenly believed Roto was glaring at him. Roto walks past Aradon, completely ignoring him and goes over to kick on Ah-Dol for starting everything. Boromir taunts the obviously offended Aradon that he was being ignored.

Infuriated, he calls Roto a little brat, angry that Roto was ignoring him. Setting Roto off, Roto rhetorically asks in fury if he was trying to piss him off, to which Aradon returned that sentiment. However, before either of them attack, Roto asks Ah-Dol, unaware he is knocked out, why he is not restraining him like usual. Further offended, he decides to teach Roto a lesson by summoning the Wind Goddess, Sylphid. Roto is unworried and begins casting his own summon spell, but Boromir berates him for summoning too late. Aradon completes his chant and Sylphid goes to attack Roto. Aradon realized he summoned Efreet specifically. Roto confirms this by explaining that Fire trumps Wind because it eats their oxygen as part of the basic principles of the 4 elements. Before Aradon could make his next move, Roto strikes him, confirming he's also a high-level Swordsman. However, Aradon unveils his cloak and reveals he's also a Swordsman, disarming Roto of his sword to his surprise. He asks if Roto has ever heard of "Aradon the Black." Roto says he doesn't, but quickly changes his mind, further irritating Aradon.

Aradon the Black

By this time, Ah-Dol had recovered (presumably by Boromir's healing while Roto and Aradon were still fighting) and recalled hearing about a Mage who became Master class in the shortest amount of time and is a famous PK Hunter. He states if he knew that was their opponent, he would have fought with all he had. Aradon realizes Paralysis wasn't enough for Boromir since he was a healer, concluding he should have finished him off first. Boromir challenges Aradon to Round 2, but Ah-Dol stops him, saying they all misunderstood something. He correctly deduces that because Aradon is a PK Hunter, he was going out to stop criminals. When Boromir asked about the dead body, Ah-Dol suspects it was the Mage in the wanted poster. Roto, not privy to any of this, asks what they are talking about with wanted criminals and such, only to be scared by Aradon's horse. Aradon confirms all of Ah-Dol's deductions. Ah-Dol asked why Aradon didn't just explain all this from the beginning. As he leaves, Aradon admits he was curious about Team Triple Threat's abilities.

Relationships[]

Friends/Allies[]

Piri[]

Piri and Aradon

Aradon, like Roto, frequents Piri's shop to sell his drops from his hunting and PK hunter activities. He is very friendly with her and respects her very much. While she secretly is in love with him, he does not display any romantic interest in return.

Enemies[]

Roto[]

Roto and Aradon are chief rivals and generally do not like each other due to their many differences. Their personalities also clash causing them to get into arguments very quickly and itching to fight and find out once and for all who was the better fighter. Both Roto and Aradon believe the other is beneath them in terms of ability, despite never finishing a match or defeating one another.

Ah-Dol[]

Even on opposing sides, Aradon and Ah-Dol treat each other respectfully. Aradon is familiar with Ah-Dol's fighting methods and was able to easily counter them in their first encounter due to Aradorn's experience fighting other players.

Boromir[]

Aradon and Boromir barely interacted, but it's shown that Boromir was aware of Aradon's magical strength from the start, slightly fearing him. Aradon in turn was impressed with Boromir since his Paralysis spell wasn't as effective as he thought.

Trivia[]

  • Officially, he is called "Aradon the Black" because of his garb. Stanker incorrectly calls Aradon "Dark" due to a mistranslation because the two sound phonetically the same in Korean.
